PhosphoMei New Materials Overcomes Anti-Corrosion Adhesion Challenge on Smooth Metal Sheets
Recently, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical PhosphoMei New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to PhosphoMei New Materials) has successfully completed the first on-site spraying of its independently developed one-component spray-applied inorganic anti-corrosion coating on metal sheet components in Chongqing. This breakthrough solves the long-standing industry challenge of poor adhesion of anti-corrosion materials to smooth metal surfaces, opening new application scenarios for inorganic anti-corrosion coatings in smart construction and high-end manufacturing.

Smooth metal sheets often suffer from insufficient adhesion of traditional anti-corrosion coatings. To tackle this, PhosphoMei designed two comparative test groups:
Group 1: With full surface cleaning and preparation
Group 2: Without surface cleaning
The tests focused on verifying the coating’s constructability and adhesion performance under different substrate conditions, providing solid technical support for subsequent large-scale engineering applications.
During the trial, the team followed strict standardized procedures:
Precise mixing: 1:1 ratio using a dual-liquid grouting pump
Uniform application: Air spraying for consistent coverage
Test results confirmed:
Stable workability and uniform film formation with no sagging
Early strength development within 1 hour after spraying
Meets on-site efficiency and process sequence requirements
Outstanding Adhesion on Unprepared Surfaces
In adhesion and bending tests, PhosphoMei’s inorganic coating demonstrated excellent bonding performance even on untreated smooth metal sheets, earning high recognition from the partner’s technical team.
This trial not only validates the coating’s feasibility for metal sheet applications but also accumulates practical experience for market promotion and engineering implementation.
