Malaysian Delegation Visits Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group

    On May 21, Dr. Zul Hadri Bin Ahmad, Secretary of the Agricultural Division at the Ministry of Economy of Malaysia, led a delegation including executives from the National Farmers’ Organization of Malaysia (NAFAS) to visit Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group. The delegation held in-depth talks and exchange meetings with Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group and Jiangsu Provincial Chemical Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd. to discuss strengthening trilateral cooperation.
 
 
    Present at the meeting were relevant principals including Harris Bin Alimuddin, Chief Executive Officer of NAFAS, Muhammad Faris Ariffin, General Manager of NAFAS, Zhu Xuefeng, Chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Chemical Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd., Chang Xianfeng, Chief Engineer of the institute, as well as Chen Huiyun, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group. The attendees conducted in-depth exchanges on the content of future cooperation.
 
    The National Farmers’ Organization of Malaysia (NAFAS) is a national-level farmers’ organization in Malaysia under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security of Malaysia. It has more than 600,000 registered farmer members and supplies compound fertilizers to them.
 
    The meeting noted that Malaysia enjoys a superior geographical location and imports more than 5 million tons of chemical fertilizers annually. Cooperation with the Malaysian side is of positive significance for further expanding the compound fertilizer market in Southeast Asia. The three parties will strengthen communication and coordination to promote the implementation of the project as soon as possible.
