Wengfu Dazhou Phosphogypsum Comprehensive Utilization Project for Co-production of Cement Retarder Successfully Passes 72-hour Performance Test
On October 19, the Wengfu Dazhou Phosphogypsum Comprehensive Utilization Project for co-production of cement retarder successfully completed its 72-hour performance test. Throughout the test, the facility operated steadily under controllable working conditions, with key indicators including process parameters and product quality meeting design specifications. The milestone marks another important advance in phosphogypsum recycling and delivers tangible progress in the high-value utilization of phosphogypsum.

Qualified materials were produced during the trial run.
To ensure smooth progress of the 72-hour test, Wengfu Dazhou formulated a dedicated test plan and emergency response protocol in advance. Pre-inspections and simulations were carried out covering core areas such as equipment linkage, process parameters, quality control and safety management.
During the test, operators closely monitored operational data and fine-tuned critical parameters. Site teams intensified round-the-clock inspections of key sections including material conveying, filtration and mixing systems. Technical specialists remained on-site throughout the trial to track quality test results and respond promptly to any process fluctuations.
Verified by 72 consecutive hours of stable operation, the project achieved its designed capacity. The harmless phosphogypsum output satisfies relevant standards. The successful performance test lays a solid foundation for the official commissioning and full-capacity stable production of the plant.
