The 22nd Annual Conference of the Special Committee on Information Technology and Application of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China Convenes in Guiyang
On July 30, the 22nd Annual Conference of the Special Committee on Information Technology and Application, Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China (CIESC) was held in Guiyang, with the theme of “Deepening Innovation through Digital Intelligence to Empower the Intelligent, Green and Integrated Development of the Petroleum and Chemical Industry”. Hosted by the Special Committee on Information Technology and Application under CIESC, the conference was jointly undertaken by Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group (GPC) and Beijing University of Chemical Technology.

It brought together academicians, university experts and enterprise technical backbones across the industry to explore new paths for the integration of digital and real economy in the chemical sector.
The conference focused on discussing the implementation and application of industrial Internet, scenario-based Artificial Intelligence and green circular technologies in the chemical industry.
At the conference, renowned professors from multiple universities and technical experts from enterprises including Huawei, Zhizhida and Sinan Intelligence delivered special presentations on cutting-edge areas such as microchemical intelligent manufacturing, industrial large models for chemical industry, digital twins, industrial control security, and green low-carbon processes.
Digital intelligence represents an inevitable path to advance high-quality development of the chemical industry. In recent years, GPC has continuously promoted the comprehensive construction of smart mines, intelligent factories and digital management and control platforms. Driven by data, GPC achieves cost reduction, quality improvement, efficiency gains and risk control, blazing a trail of integrated development featuring digital intelligence and green development for resource-based traditional chemical enterprises.
Moving forward, GPC will further tap into the potential of digital-real economy integration, industrial Internet, low-carbon technologies and scenario-based AI. It will pursue collaborative innovation with industry experts and partners to advance the digital upgrading of the entire chemical industrial chain, and build a safe, efficient, low-carbon and intelligent modern chemical industrial system.
