   Currently, Guizhou is fully advancing the strategic deployment of "High‑Quality Development and Intensive Utilization of Mineral Resources", striving to transform its mineral resource advantages into industrial, economic and developmental advantages. As a strategic resource, phosphate ore serves as both a cornerstone safeguarding national food security and a core element supporting emerging industries such as new energy, new materials, and electronic information.
 
   As a national leader in phosphorus chemical industry and a pacesetter in Guizhou’s new-type industrialization, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group (GPC) keeps its mission firmly in mind, takes reform and innovation as the fundamental driving force, and has achieved remarkable results in the practice of high‑quality and intensive development of mineral resources. As its core innovation platform, the State Key Laboratory of Green and Efficient Development and Utilization of Phosphate Ore and Its Associated Resources always adheres to the principle of "serving the main economic battlefield", takes industrial pain points as the starting point of scientific research, promotes the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial development, and helps GPC blaze a new path of high-quality development featuring conservation, intensification, green low-carbon transition and high-end transformation.
 
    We have adopted a industry-university-research-application collaboration model featuring "joint development, enterprise incubation, co-ownership of intellectual property rights, mutual promotion and benefit sharing", gathered innovation resources to tackle key industrial problems, and consolidated the foundation for technology-industry coordination. Joint research with universities and research institutes has formed a four-level linked innovation resource pool: national – provincial – enterprise – laboratory.
 
    Focusing on two major directions – reshaping the value of elements and building a circular ecosystem – we have established a problem-solving mechanism of "production lines setting problems – laboratories solving problems – on-site verification". In key fields such as recovery of associated resources from phosphate ore, high purification of wet-process phosphoric acid, and comprehensive treatment of phosphogypsum, cross-disciplinary teams have been organized to conduct continuous research, forming a technological iteration path of "R&D one generation, reserve one generation, apply one generation".
 
    Going forward, we will base ourselves on the strategy of high‑quality and intensive mineral development, promote the leap of innovation mode from "passively solving problems" to "proactively setting problems", strengthen self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology, foster new-quality productive forces, and seize the commanding heights of industrial development.
 
    We will continue to locate laboratories on production lines, uphold the practical philosophy of "industries set the problems, we solve them; production lines verify the results, we break through bottlenecks", and accelerate the transformation of traditional phosphorus chemical industry toward digitalization, intelligence and green development. We will turn Guizhou’s phosphate resource advantages into irreplaceable industrial and developmental advantages, making new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of China’s phosphorus chemical industry and the comprehensive advancement of national rejuvenation through Chinese-style modernization.
