Advancing Warehousing Forward & Off-Season Stockpiling for Peak-Season Supply — Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group Empowers Spring Ploughing with 40 Precision-Located Central Warehouses
Spring breeze caresses the green fields, and the busy farming season is in full swing. As the critical period for spring ploughing and preparation for farming unfolds, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group has leveraged its 40 central warehouses covering the entire country. Through a modern logistics system featuring "stockpiling in off-seasons for supply in peak seasons and precise scheduling", it delivers agricultural materials such as chemical fertilizers efficiently to the fields, laying a solid foundation for a bumper grain harvest throughout the year.
Inside the central warehouse in Liaocheng, Shandong Province, bags of chemical fertilizers are neatly stacked and moved in an orderly manner. This is a microcosm of Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group's nationwide strategy of "advancing warehousing forward".

During peak sales seasons, trucks transport chemical fertilizers from the central warehouses.
"Located at the junction of Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces, our central warehouse is not only an important hub for ensuring the supply of agricultural materials in the region, but also one of the 40 strategic pillars of the Group's national layout," said Pang Xiaoyan, a staff member of the Shandong Wengfu Operation Department under Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group, pointing to the busy operations inside the warehouse. "At present, the warehouse has sufficient storage capacity, covering more than 70 to 80 surrounding counties with a service radius of over 400 kilometers."
Pang Xiaoyan has deep feelings about the changes brought by the central warehouses. She recalled that in the past, customers had to make payments first and then wait for the factory to arrange production and delivery, often facing the dilemma of "no goods to pick up" during peak seasons. Today, with the establishment of central warehouses, goods are stocked in advance. Customers can pick up their orders on the same day after passing the review, and even achieve "review and delivery on the spot" during peak sales seasons.
"Farming waits for no man, and efficiency means harvest. Advancing warehousing forward not only eases the pressure on factories, but also greatly improves distribution efficiency," Pang Xiaoyan said.

To date, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group has accurately laid out 40 central warehouses in major agricultural production areas, built a national-level agricultural material logistics network, and is committed to breaking through the "last mile" of agricultural material supply.
So how are these 40 central warehouses scientifically laid out? According to Deng Wei, Minister of the Logistics Management Department of Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group, the Group has made advance planning based on historical sales data and production and sales plans. It uses tools such as mathematical model algorithms to scientifically select locations for the 40 central warehouses and optimize warehousing plans, ensuring the optimal cost of the logistics network connecting multiple factories to multiple central warehouses.
Thanks to such scientific layout, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group adopted a "warehouse-based sales model" as a key measure to stabilize the market during the 2025 spring ploughing supply guarantee campaign. This flexible mechanism of "advancing warehouses forward" and "stockpiling in off-seasons for supply in peak seasons" extends the "factory warehouses" to the closest locations to farmlands. It stocks up inventory in the off-season and delivers goods nearby to the fields during peak seasons, cutting the fastest delivery time from the original 15 days to just 1 day. This ensures that fertilizers are available on demand during peak seasons, providing a reliable guarantee for spring ploughing supply.
Since March, the sales of chemical fertilizers have entered a peak season, and Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group has shifted its work focus to precise scheduling and demand matching. The Group has assigned special personnel to conduct on-site command at the market end, and uniformly coordinated the distribution matters at intermodal transport ports and central warehouses, ensuring that products with delivery plans can be distributed to customers in a timely manner.
In terms of distribution methods, the Group flexibly adopts a combination of "railway delivery + road delivery + customer self-pickup" based on customers' actual needs, achieving precise matching and ensuring customer demands are met.undefined
